Trying to figure out how to get to hotel from the Miami Cruiseport. It is on Collins Avenue. I think it is called South Palms. Not sure how far it is down on Collins. Can we do anything from the hotel without a car? Thanks in advance...Are there shuttles or taxis from hotel back to airport? Thanks..Trying to get everything done in advance. 4 weeks left.

It will probably be about $40 or more from the airport to Collins ave...however Collins is a very LOOOOONG street that runs all the way up north into Broward county so if you can get the exact address of the hotel I would be able to better help you.

Thanks for all your help. The first hotel is Days Inn at 100 21st St-Collins Avenue South Beach. This is from Miami Airport to Hotel. On the way back it is from Miami Cruise Port to Palms South Beach at 3025 Collins Avenue Miami beach. Also, Is there anything to do near either hotel for the day. Really don't want a car and drive in Miami. Did that years ago and hated it. Like driving down town Chicago in Rush Hour or Seattle when Boening gets out at 3pm. Thanks so much in advance. Esther

Both hotels are not within walking distance of attractions. However a short cab ride to the heart of South beach shouldn't be much $$. The Palms is actually a little further north on Collins. You migh be able to get away with walking to Lincoln Road Mall and Espanola Way from the Days inn Hotel...which is the closet area to visit by foot but definately no the Palms.
