Has your brother in law tried the roll-call on the german Website

http://www.wasserurlaub.info/ they have one for each voyage and ship similar to the cc ones.There will also be lots of fellow German travellers with their own tips etc,he is sure to find some help there. It's like a mini cc but just for the Aida ships, we have been with Aida many times and loved it I am sure he will too
