There are a couple of hotels on the Atlantic side, however more people stay on the Pacific side in Panama City as there is more to do and then travel to Colon to meet the cruise. Many more sightseeing and dining attractions in Panama City. I have not stayed at either but here are the web sites, (the Radisson is at the Colon 2000 pier).

In Colon, if you were staying in the hotel just prior or after the cruise, maybe taking a cab out to the new viewing area for construct ion of the locks, but not planning on walking around Colon - the Radison is right by RCCLs Home Port and a lovely hotel with nice rooms, a roof top pool, casino, and very convenient.

Richard-any Recommendations for a nice dinner on our night before our 1/5 Windstar cruise?
We are staying in Panama City at the Trump. Place does not have to be chi chi or fancy-just good fun and nice atmosphere. Thanks! Julie |
