We are scheduled for the Fun in the Sun Tour. Just wondering what a reasonable tip would be for the tour?

My DD and I did this in May, about 10 guest in the van. We gave $5.00 each.

My husband and I have done this excursion twice before and getting ready to do it again in September. We have loved our drivers so we usually tip more. I think we tipped about $40. We always offer to buy their lunch but they have declined so we added that to their tip. This time, if they let us buy their lunch, we wouldn't tip as much. They probably know this and that's why they decline - they want CASH!

If Roatan operates like many other ports do- the drivers may get a free lunch for bringing customers into the restaurants. So many places offer them this deal, that it could even be a place you request, instead of one they steered you to. So that could be one reason they decline :)
