Hotel to Port

We purchased a Princess hotel and transfer package for our cruise on the CB next Sunday. We are staying at the Ft. Lauderdale Marriott North on Saturday and will be picked up by Princess on Sunday for transfer to Port Everglades. Does anyone know from experience about what time Princess will pick us up for tansfer to the port? If it is not until mid afternoon I think I would consider booking our own transport rather than sit around the lobby for hours. If that is what we decide does anyone know about what the cost would be for a cab for four adults and bags to the port? Thanks in advance as I am a newbie at this.

You may want to get a cab, as you will sit in that hotel lobby for hours. They will probably pick you up around one oclock.

Not sure where your hotel is, but from the Embassy Suits on 17th street, it is about ten dollars.
