New 2016 cruise ship
Does anyone have any information they can share on the new cruise ship that is being built for 2016 ?

Carnival is pretty tight-lipped about new ships until it's time to accept bookings. I think they don't want you to get too excited about something that they can't sell yet. I imagine that one of the first sources for information on the new ship will be John Heald's blog... but probably not anytime in 2013.
What we do know at this point is that the ship will be the first of a new class of vessel for Carnival... and that it will be even larger than the Breeze/Magic/Dream. You can assume that it will do Mediterranean cruises for the first few months... but where it goes after that, I don't believe has been announced yet. The Caribbean is probably a very safe bet.
