Craps on Carnival Victory

I'll be on the Victory on April 8th. If anyone has played craps recently on this ship I would like to know what the table conditions were like. Was the table open in the afternoon on at-sea days? Was it bouncy or neutral?

How crowded was the table and was there a best time to play with only a few players?

Thanks,

Cant answer your questions But wanted to Wish You Good Luck......

We play craps every cruise and a few years back I was playing 3-card poker....Heard alot of Action and Hollering coming from the craps table and Ran over right away....

There was a Lady and Man that were Rolling Rolling Rolling......

In 30 minutes I was Up over $1,000....Soon as the guy and lady left.. the table went dead and I ran back to the poker table.....:D

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Dicenator: I am unable to tell you what the conditions are like at the craps table today. I was on that ship in it's first season of service. I will tell you it is a very nice ship and my wife and I had a good time on the ship. Carnival dealers generally don't like it when you set the dice. I don't pay the dealers any mind. If they get rude I don't tip and complain to the pit boss. If you like to play with few players then on sea days check to see if they open in the afternoon. Also, in the early evening they don't have many players. I want to wish you good luck, have a nice time on the cruise. Lets here about it when you come back. If you don't know what to get for dessert try the chocolate melting cake. It is very good.

The chocolate melting cake is my favorite. This is my 6th Carnival cruise and I've never had any problems with their dealers over dice setting. All of their tables have been almost identical in my opinion. The only thing that stands out in my mind is that on the last Carnival ship I was on the Legend, the pyramid rubber seemed to have more bounce back than normal. Whether this was a new type of rubber they were using or just a new piece of rubber I don't know.

I've made money at craps on each one of the Carnival cruises I've been on and I expect that trend to continue.

When I return on the 16th I'll put together my usual trip report.

Last time playing on Splendor, the dealers were complaining to me about tapping the dice once on the table before I threw, saying I was damaging the table! Gimme a break! It's a habit I've grown accustomed to over the years and it bugged me that they kept on me about it. I ALWAYS tip dealers well at whatever table game I'm playing. Needless to say, I didn't tip this crew.

I am opposite of you I've never come out ahead on my 4 Carnival cruises(ecstasy, Liberty, Conquest and Legend) playing craps but I will be on the Glory this April 8th, please wish me luck as I wish you best of luck so you keep your trend. I have a good feel this trip though!!

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Trnkk: Of all my trips on Carnival I have only come up ahead in the casino only twice. Although on some other lines I have done well. I wish you the best of luck when you go in a few days. Just play the same way you play. Don't change your game. I am sure that things will turn around. I will be going on the Glory later this year. And, I will give the Veendam a shot next month.

Hey Thanks CP I'll try my best, win or lose I just love craps and good luck to you too.

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Trnkk: When you play just try and have a good time. The winning will take care of itself. Like when the late Mr. Gallo played he just wanted to have a good time. When he played everyone enjoyed themselves.
