they also have a tourist train that's inexpensive. have fun!:)

We used the hop on, hop off bus for Monaco and did the complete loop twice, getting on and off.

 

We saw the changing of the guard at the palace. There are some great little shops both up by the palace and then on the main strip.

 

IMO, this is one port that you can do on your own.

We used a private guide - Sylvie - highly recommended on these boards and now by Rick Steves. there is so much to see in the French Riviera besides Monaco.

 

she was fabulous. we have booked her again this year for St. Tropez.

 

By far our most favourite guide last year and probably one of our faves of all time.

Can you give more information about the HOHO bus? Where do you pick it up? How much was it? etc. We are considering this as well for our port day in Monaco.
