I know they have separate groups for 12 - 14 and 15 - 17. Are the 12 - 14 's always in the teen section ( living room, fuel ) or do they go to the Adventure Ocean section? Do they keep the 12 - 14's separate from the 15 - 17's or do they have combined activities a lot. We will be sailing during a holiday week in the summer on the Allure so I assume there will be a lot of teens that week. My daughter will be almost 15 when we sail and is hoping that she will be able to also be with the older group too sometimes including her 17 year old brother.

12 and up aren't in AO at all. Very often the two teen groups are combined, especially if there aren't enough participants for both age groups. My two were 12&17 and said they were often together. Also, if they don't want to participate in the planned activites, they can hang in the living room and play video games and such. Make sure they go the first night for the icebreaker activities, many friendships are formed that first night, and my girls said the activites are some of the most fun. My oldest has "aged out" now, and is almost sad, she had great times meeting new friends, and is still in contact on Facebook with many of them from our cruise 4 summers ago!
