My 14 year old will be in Nassau on Feb 8th and is interested in learning to scuba. How long would it take him and approximate cost?

A pool lesson in the morning and a 1 tank dive in the afternoon. To actually learn and get certified takes several weeks of classroom and pool lessons.. then 3-4 open water dives. Not sure of the age limitations as that's up to the training outfit.
