That's what I figured but I didn't know if regular restaurants would be open or not. If so, I'm looking for recommendations.

We're staying at the San Luis.

I have called around to few restaurants not in hotels

and none have said they will be open!

I know this is late but I can tell you there was nothing open! I took our friends some leftover ham and a loaf of bread! hahaha, On the way I did see some fast food places open but that was it. I stopped at a gas station which sells wine and took them 2 bottles as well. I really felt bad for people who had no transportation. Galveston was CLOSED! :eek:
