Anybody done the Mt Koghis walking trail tour in Noumea??

We were thinking of doing the Mount Koghis hike with our kids 16 & 13 when we go on the Sun in August. Has anybody done this before & is it worth it?

Son gets car sick very easily so don't know if it will be worth putting him through the 25 min drive up to the top of the mountain.
