We will be docked in Costa Maya in November from 12:30-7:00.

Wanted to do a combo ruins/beach type tour. Is that practical for those hours?

Considering Native Choice Extreme excursion to Bacalar Lagoon/Ruins or is it better to cab it to the ruins and then a beach.

Thanks. :)

IMO, do the Native Choice tour and when you get back, either ask them to drop you off at the malecon or grab a taxi . Depending on the number of ships in port and their schedules, you'll most likely find places still hopping.

See a link to pics and maps in my signature. Try for Tropicante or YAYA's. Or just get off and walk along until you see someplace that has nice loungers and isn't hustling you. You'll need to leave the malecon by 6PM ship time in order to get back before sailaway, but pay attention to what time the ship's newsletter and announcements say you should be back on board.
