Using on board credit for laundry

I have heard/read conflicting information about if I can use my on board credit for the laundry service that you have to book before you board. Anybody know what is up with that? Thanks!

From what I understood you book the laundry before the cruise but pay for it on the cruise. So OBC should be used. This is what I have planned for my January cruise.

Yep we have ours setup for 8-10 using OBC.

Call PG direct and get it setup way before you go.

But what if you don't take the laundry package, but just send a few things out as normal? Surely you could use your OBC for that, right?

For our 10 night cruise we think the prearranged price for laundry is a steal. Plus it saves us a lot of luggage weight that way. When we called PG and reserved the laundry package it was 25.00 less than our TA had quoted and we were told by the PG rep that if you wanted the laundry service it had to be prearranged direct with PG. I am not sure if they had a service for piece by piece laundry or not. I assume they would have some kind of do it yourself laundry area you could do it yourself? But on a luxury cruise = who wants to do their own laundry anyway?

Love having the laundry package! Great when you've had a few days on the islands before boarding to get all the laundry sorted once on board and also great to have the majority sorted before heading home. One of the first things we do....book the laundry package! :D

Yes, you can pay to have a single piece of laundry or drycleaning done. And no, they do not have a self-service laundry onboard.

Completely agree!! Well worth it & we used OBC.
