Default Dream Spa for the week

My wife and I will be on the Dream for some time off to just relax. We have been to all the ports before and live at a nice beach in Florida so this time we are thinking about using the Spa everyday for the mineral pool, steam room, and just a nice place to relax.

When can you sign up for the week long package? I think it is about $250 per couple. Is it worth the expense? What are some of your experiences?

Cheers!

You might want to look at booking one of the Spa cabins. They are generally only a couple of hundred bucks more and they give you access to the spa and it's facilities.

We did it for the Dream Trans Atlantic back in 2009 and with all the sea days it worked out great.

I think the rooms are available in interior and balcony.

We enjoyed it so much we just booked one again on the Breeze for our anniversary this year.

Thanks for the suggestion but our cruise is coming up in a few days and I don't think we can make any changes now. So we will need to pay separately for some kind of Spa package.

Have fun on your Breeze cruise. We sailed on the Breeze back in Oct. in the Med and had a great time. Very nice ship and our waiter and staff were great.

Cheers!

My husband and I got the spa pass on the Dream in March. It was more than worth it for us. We booked spa cabins for the bext cruise We did go to each port ( Cozumel was a quick shopping stop only) and we still used the spa facilities alot.

How do you sign up for the Spa Package? Is this done on the first day when boarding or is there a place on the Carnival website where you can sign up? Thanks

Cheers!

Tantra1,

My wife and I very much enjoyed the week long spa package on Carnival Dream. We went every day and the relaxation was worth every penny. Best Spa in the fleet.

You will have to do it onboard. Look at the funtimes you receive when you board and go to the Spa when it opens. They sell a limited number of passes, but you shouldn't have any trouble getting one. I absolutely love the Dream spa. Be sure to check out the link that bbobbneedacruise posted.

I got fed up with the crowds around the pools and spent my time in the spa. It was almost deserted. I was by myself in the Thalasso pool several times. It's a wonderful place to relax and recharge. The showers are great too. I showered in the spa showers several times while hubby showered in the cabin.

I bought the Spa Access on the Dream in October. Totally worth it, IMHO. Love the T-Pool and the heated loungers. I would take a towel and put it under my neck and lay on one of the loungers and watch us pull out of port, watch sunsets, etc. Bliss.

I signed up at the spa desk during the tours. When you come back, they will check your name on the computer, you will get a plastic bracelet (different color every day), they will take your S & S card and give you a key to get into the doors.

Does anyone know what the price is for the Breeze Spa package, per day and per week?

Thank you to all that posted. We are looking forward to a week of Spa Package relaxation, reading, exercise and eating this time instead of port tours. I guess the first thing we will do when we board ship is to go to the spa desk and sign up for the week. Then a glass of wine and lunch.

Cheers!

We had a spa suite on the Dream and liked it a lot. We were going to get a suite anyway so the Spa suite difference in price was cheaper than getting a suite and then getting the package. So if the rates are better you may want to get a spa cabin. The Spa is worth it in my opinion. We loved the Thasso pool, steam rooms, and tile beds. Very relaxing and soothing. Good Luck.

Thanks for the tip kshees. Our cruise leaves tomorrow but we will keep this in mind. Normally we book an inside cabin since we only consider it a place to sleep and to us a bed is a bed. Once we are sleeping we don't know where we are anyway. Although we may want to try it next cruise to see how we like it.

Cheers!

Tantra, we leave tomorrow on the Dream too and one of our first orders of business once we're on the ship is to go up and purchase the week spa package also. We're really looking forward to the relaxing time of this vacation, I really don't want to come home more exhausted than how we are feeling when we left. It will be our first time spending spa time on the ship and really looking forward to it!
We booked a cove balcony to be close to the water and for the privacy there so a spa cabin wasn't an option for us.
