We will be sailing out of from Sydney at 6:30pm on the Radiance of The Seas on Nov. 7, after checking in at around noon time and have lunch on board, can we go out to see more sights nearby and be back at around 5ish?

Thanks.

Unfortunately not any more.

Once you board, unless staying overnight, you cannot leave the ship in Sydney.

Earlier this year we did B2B's from Sydney and the cruise out to Fiji we had to stay on once we had checked in again but with the cruise up to Port Douglas and back (all Aussie ports) we were free to come and go as we pleased. I was told it was an immigration thing and it sort of makes sense if you think about it. :D

Thank you for your info. I guess we will drop off the bags than walk around and come back later.

Does anyone know how early we can drop off our bags at the Sydney port? We need to return a rental car to the airport by about 10 am to avoid being charged an extra day. We want to wander around Sydney a bit before boarding but can't get too far with suit cases.

Thanks

Barry

Barry,

You can usually drop your bags off at the OPT from about 8am.

Depending where you are travelling from you might consider returning your car to the airport prior to 10 am, then catching the train from the airport to Circular Quay, where you can drop your luggage. (This would cost you $17pp)
