RCI's fresh water pools are on Freedom Class and newer. The older Enchantment of the Seas (Vision Class) also had a fresh water pool added when the ship was lengthened and refurbished.

Yes, they are. The water is still taken from the sea and desalinated.

I am a big fan of the Princess freshwater pools and they always seem pretty clean to me.

Default Ya gotta love the two kinds of cc responders..........

THERE ARE THOSE WHO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS, AND THEN, THOSE WHO NIT-PICK AND TRY TO ANALYZE PEOPLE. FOR OF THOSE WHO FOCUSED NOT ON THE POOL QUESTION ITSELF BUT ON THE "CREEPED OUT" FACTOR, YA GOTTA KNOW IT WAS THE FIRST VERB THAT POPPED INTO MY HEAD, AS I TYPE AND THINK ABOUT THE SAME SPEED. SO THANKS FOR THE AMUSEMENT.

BUT THANKS TO YOU WHO MENTIONED hal AND THE OTHER SHIPS.

and yes, my wife snorkels and loves the ocean. a pool's a pool and the ocean's the ocean. and i promise i'd never fill my inground with jersey shore water (no offense gardenstaters). clear carribean water sounds fine to me though.

apparently my wife's skin is already dry enough or something like that.

I totally agree with you,, really, how dare people go on and on about what another person likes or dislikes!

And, I am with your wife on this,, I definately prefer freshwater pools.
