Things to do in Falmouth

I am traveling to Falmouth and looking for independent excursions to do, any good recommendations?

Thanks

Well, there is good news and bad news. Good news is that because Falmouth is between MoBay and Ocho Rios, you can do excursions in either direction, so you will have a lot of options. The bad news is that most of the excursions are in MoBay or Ocho Rios area, so you will have a bit of a drive for many of them. Martha Brae rafting and a few others are close, but many people choose the excursions that are a bit of a drive (Dunn's River, Doctor's Cave Beach, Hip Strip, Mystic Mountain, Blue Hole, White River tubing, etc).

What tour company do you recommend for white river tubing? Will be porting into Falmouth on the Carnival Triumph. Thanks so much

We have used Javia at Know Jamaica dot com several times. We've been super happy with his service and he's very flexible. Sometimes we want to do more organized stuff, sometimes we just want to go have a beer and some Jerk. Either way, he picks us up at port every time we're in Jamaica.

Any other good options or any good private tours to take?

I highly recommend this company: http://www.Libertytoursjamaica.

We went to the Blue Hole and had the most thrilling and exciting day of our cruise stop in Falmouth. This company is professional, will pick you up at the pier in a clean air conditioned van and keep you safe. The Blue Hole is not touristy, so there are no ship crowds, has beautiful turquoise water, waterfalls, a hidden cave and a Tarzan rope swing. The guides at the Blue Hole assist you throughout your day. After all the fun, your driver from Libertytoursjamaica will take you to Scotchies for the best jerk chicken you've ever tasted!

Scotchies is a wonderful outdoor restaurant you can relax and enjoy Red Stripe beers for $2.00. Greatest day ever!!
