Jamacian Coffee

We are not planning any excursions while in Falmouth but have been asked to bring someone back some jamacian coffee. Is there somewhere near the dock that sells items like that? If so is there a certain kind that you reccommend?

Blue Mountain coffee. Costs over $50 per pound. When I was there about 6 years ago you could buy it at the shops near the pier.

Blue mountain is the best, sold at the shoppes near the pier.

OMG wow, you must have splurged and got the top shelf stuff, us on the other hand got the same product we bought the previous year.

We were just there and we bought blue mountain coffee at the pier in pre sealed blue heavy foil like bags for $15 a pound.

Funny we bought the same Item last year for $10.

Excellent taste.

At Falmouth there is a builiding like stand right before you get to the area where the minivans are waiting for you to go on excusions. They sell the coffee their in different sizes bundles and such.

Not hard to find.

Thanks for the replies .... Since the coffee is at the request of a friend, I will not be buying the $50 per pound stuff!!! :eek:

I went into a shop and was offered blue mountain coffee at $50 a pound. When i said no, she went 2 for $25. I ran out of the store as fast as I could. :eek:

Try a supermarket with set prices.

The blue mountain coffee is $50/lb in the US, that's exactly the point of buying it on the island. [emoji4] HiLo markets have it in stock; just make sure wherever you buy it that it's 100% and doesn't say 'blend' or anything similar on the label!
