Veendam - Sauna

Is there a Sauna/Steam Room available onboard Veendam for general use? If so, can I assume there is no additional charge?
This will be good to use, especially sailing round the tip of South America in a few weeks time.....................

From what I understand about the Veendam, and from numerous cruiser reports, it seems that if you get the 'right' cabin you will not have to go anywhere for a sauna.

You will only have to remain in your cabin and refrain from requesting a fan.

There are two steam rooms (small) inside the thermal suite. These are not free, you need to pay the thermal suite charge, which was $20 a day for casual use and around $180 for the 13 night cruise.

Not that I recall, but I may be wrong, I joined up for the thermal suite for the cruise and found it good value, though fraught with cultural differences, there being many Germans and French on the cruise, the signs about spa etiquette were only in English.

I didn't really use the changing room, I changed in my cabin, and only used it for the loo, so I didn't have a close look at the amenities.

FREE sauna in both men's and women's locker rooms. These are in addition to those located (for a fee) in the Thermal Suite
