Formal night

How do I find out which might is the formal night on a 2 night to bruges

It is sometimes the first and sometimes the second. I suggest that it cannot be determined with any degree of certainty.

I'm on a 2 nighter, and I'm assuming that the formal night would be the first night, as on the second night, we would have to put the cases outside the cabin, like on a longer cruise.

I have been on short cruises when the formal night is the second night, I think it could be either.

It was the second night on our 2 nighter at Easter :)

I think on a 2 nighter a lot of people take their own luggage on/off the ship ,as usually only one case pp, so there would be no need to put cases out. I think they do still collect them though if you do put them out.

I think they prefer it on the second night as many people book spa treatments, hairdressers etc. You can put your suitcases out quite late and they will be collected throughout the night.

I agree and also very often they don't have scheduled disembarkation time, you can just leave once the announcement is made.

Have done 3 and 4 night P&O but not 2 night so never done a last night formal but it would make sense on a 2 night cruise.

We did a 2 night Bruges one last year and I'm sure it was on the 2nd night.

I had a picture taken with my late departed best friend and had to rush to buy it before we got off the next morning.

Not a problem with carry on only.

We were on Britannia 3weeks ago on a two nighter , black tie was the 2nd night as there's too much going on the first night with muster drills and sail away stuff and then people changing dinner tables ,they collect your luggage late the last night and the photo booth opens up early in the morning about 6 o'clock to buy your pictures .
