Price reduction if deposit non-refundable?

I check the prices after we book, and often we have been able to have our travel agent get us a lower price before final payment if it is available. Can you still do this if the deposit is non-refundable? The cruise we are looking at is currently under the Red White and Blue Sale which says the deposits are non-refundable. We would be using Future Cruise Deposits if that makes a difference.

It doesn't matter if the deposit is refundable or not. It has nothing to do with price reductions. You should be able to get price reductions outside of final payment.

If you are eligible for a price reduction, it does not affect the deposit you made.

Only if you cancelled the cruise would you lose your deposit.
