Ok so that's all the Fl. Mates accounted for..right? If so.

FYI. We are sitting inCalgary waiting for a connection to Ottawa. Couple weeks going to be spent running around Upper Canada. Niece getting married and I need to see the old home town.

It is 11:00 AM Tuesday, and we are at a hotel waiting for them to clean a room for us. I have finally calmed down enough to post. I'm watching TV and they are showing the flooding in Jacksonville. WOW!!!

I am extremely pleased that we didn't have any more damage than we did. However, Mike is not a yard person, so he can't know how it makes one feel to lose 3 full grown trees. Boo hoo! I expected to lose the Geyger because it has gone down during every hurricane we've had. The Tibuchina in the back yard was way over house high and in full bloom with purple flowers. It was kinda old though, about 15 years old, but beautiful. The other one is the one I hate. My Plumeria was originally a cutting from one I brought back from Hawaii. It was about 8 ft. tall and very spread out - - beautiful. I had put one of my orchids in its crook, and it is down, too.

I know I sound petty, but I'm just griping to y'all. I know how lucky we were. Honestly, I do.

We are finally home. We both had FLL air traffic control delays in our different connection cities. When I landed and got off the plane, Carol's flight had just pulled up to the gate next to mine. It was a perfect end to a most enjoyable vacation.
