DS 16 really enjoys cruising, and I was thinking of combining a mini five day RCCL cruise with a three night visit to NJ to visit relatives (We do a day trip to NYC too on our annual relative visit). The nice thing about this is that as we already are flying ot the NYC area we wouldn't have any extra airfare expense for this cruise.
We're really not beach people, so I was thinking of doing the cruise either late may or early June right after DS gets out of school. We'd have two days at Sea and two days in Bermuda. I thought we might do the aquarium, zoo, and natural history museum one of the days and a 4/5 hour Best of Bermuda tour the other day. Has anyone else visited Bermuda during this timeframe? Did you enjoy a your visit during late May / early June period? Do you think of this as a reasonable time to go? It sounds like weather would be quite pleasant, maybe mid 70s (great for wandering around, but too cool for the beach or snorkeling) which I think would work fine for us on this one. |

Weather will be very nice and not so humid as the summer time and a little less crowded. I would highly recommend a cruise there and that time frame would be great.

I love it when the humidity isn't steamy as it is in July and August! Go for it, and your sight seeing ideas are great. Have a wonderful cruise and I assure you will want to return.

Went once in mid May, weather was great, mid to upper 70's, mostly sunny and warm, and for the record, we did swim on each of our three days, incl. the first day when we had a brief shower. We are going again on May 19th, Norwegian Breakaway.
