Easter week?

Hi all!

We are visiting santo Tomas port on march 28, 2013. Someone mentioned that is a holy day in Guatemala and things may be closed down. I am looking at either 1) booking through HAL for either the rio dulce/San Felipe trip or ak tenemit trip, 2) booking rio dulce/Livingston/ak tenemit trip with happy fish, 3) humitarian trip with Gus (if he ever answers my email), or just booking when I get into the port.

I have two gorgeous sons adopted from Guatemala and I chose this ship itinerary to show them their birth country.

Any help is appreciated!

It is holy Week. And in Central America, it is time for processions and observing these most special days leading to Easter on March 31.

I would do some research on the Trip Advisor about their celebrations during this week. I think it is wonderful to show your son the country he was born in.

I am sure there is also ship excusions that would not interfere with the religious events.
