Trying to book and can't figure out where to go, back or front, seems like the back ocean views will be bigger but should I be worried about noise from the engines?

what type of cabin are you looking at.?

On this ship my favorite cabin is 7411 It comes with a cheaper price tag over the cabin next to it (7409)

across the hall is no neighbors-- its where they store the fire door

out the door-- elevators/stairs are right there. Up two decks is food and pools

Down 2 decks is entertainment. Only traveling is to the show loung.

If looking at lower decks be wary of whats above you or below. You worry more about noise being under the galley then you will hear the noise from the engines. which are a few decks below the cabin areas.

If looking at the bigger ocean view rooms like cabin 2473 yes the cabin is massive but again so is the chance of the shuddering and or vibrations that come with that room

you will not hear the engines so much as you will feel them.

It was-- we had that cabin a few years ago.

Yopu cant open the shades at night-- but after we were all ready for bed-- we turned out the lights and opened it up. Watch the night sky as we were laying therre. BUT very bright in the morning when that sun is coming out

I usually wear a face mask so I could deal with that, I'm sure it's not available and if it is probably too pricey for me but we'll see. I'm not unhappy with what we got, just pondering what other options there are for an Ocean View.

just keep the oceanview under the dining rooms which are carpeted. you do not want one under the galley.

The one we have atm is under the kitchen.

LOL I was picturing a kitchen area above you. (there are room service areas on some decks-- you do NOT want to be across from that area for sure.

shoujld not hear dining room noise at all. Its carpeted. Besides you will be either at dinner or getting ready for dinner.
