Jax Port Park and Cruise Hotels

Hello all. New member and first time (kinda) cruiser. We will be leaving out of Jacksonville August the 22nd to the Bahamas on the Fascination. It looks like parking would be 75 dollars for the week and we were going to be staying somewhere the night before and the night after the cruise. Looking for recommendations on the best all around hotel that I can park my car and catch a shuttle to the port. Was looking at the Holiday Inn Express on Blount Island, but something cheaper would be better. Would like a safe parking area, that is all the really matters. Thanks! Blake

Hi, the Airport has probably a dozen (or more) hotels and motels

along side.

Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, Courtyard By Marriott, Fairfield Inn,

Comfort Suites, just to name a few. They are on

Duval Road (otherwise known as Airport Road;))

We are staying at the travelodge... http://www.travelodgejax.com/. It is just over $100 for the night after all taxes etc.; free shuttle; free breakfast/ free internet and heated pool (we'll be there March 29th). Let you know how it was after our trip... Carnival Fascination March 30th!!
