Something else I heard about this program is you need 5 minutes between drink orders (I'm assuming the 15/day is an actual daily limit, not carried over if not used, so they probably were concerned with people ordering a bunch near the end of the night just to use it up)

For 17 rum and cokes it is a whole lot of calories.

It takes 3500 calories approximately to gain a pound.
If the 17 rum and cokes are around 3000 calories, then it would be possible to gain over a half a pound a day just from the rum and coke, not counting the chocolate melting cake and various fried stuff.

Better bring stretch pants for the trip home.
a shot is 1 ounce - I highly doubt Carnival puts more than one shot into a rum and coke as the drinks are pretty weak (which is probably how it is that OP could drink 17 in one day and not be staggering and such).
