Jamaica - Domestic or International?

Is it considered domestic or international when flying to and from Jamaica? Just wondering how early I am supposed to be at the airport.

Assuming you're flying from the US, Jamaica is considered international and you will have to clear customs on your way back.

And Passport Control....

My return flight will be CLT- DFW. So at CLT I will need to collect my luggage, go through passport control and the customs. Will there be a complimentary luggage drop right there like I had when coming through MIA from Rome?

Then, I guess I will need to go through security again?

I would think it would be the same as returning from Europe. International is international.

If yes, it will be just like your flight from FCO-MIA: passport control, collect bags, go through Customs, put bags at luggage drop, go through the TSA checkpoint.

This assumes that your bags are checked and tagged to go through from Jamaica to DFW. If not, that's another issue.
