Are cabs readily accessible at South Beach?

We are staying at the Loews and wondering about our return to FLL from there. Can we just walk down to entrance and easily get a cab? Or is it better to arrange service? I would rather just catch a cab if they are easily available.

Yes, cabs are lined up under the porte-cochere. Cabs are everywhere in South Beach a lot like Manhattan.

Exception is when it is raining. You could certainly ask the concierge to ensure that a cab is available for you at a specific time, just to be on the safe side.
