With Boeing selling them at a loss, you can see why they put this marketing tosh out!

Well of course you are correct, but despite this Boeing's commercial operation turned a profit circa $5b last year. Interestingly when you take into account

the lower purchase price, the Airbus A330 is overall the cheaper to operate.

We went on one a couple of times last year, okay but not worth all the hype. Didn't like the 3 seats each side by the windows, much prefer the 2's particularly on a long flight. But better than the standard Thomsons plans if you aren't travelling scheduled.

Thats the point I have tried to make on here a few times.

Yes its new so probably a bit nicer than some of the 15 year old planes rattling around the sky and a couple of nice features onboard like lower altitude, but if you are sat in an economy seat for 9 hours, its just that, the hype they throw out about this plane to the reality of being cramped in a normal standard economy seat are miles apart!

Its a nice plane. Quite a bit of legroom, but some people were going over the top with all the hype.

My humble opinion, for what it's worth, is that it was nice, the windows were large and 'dimmable', the lighting was definitely very different but wouldn't shout wow about it.
