We were on the Indy in Nov. we found it better to buy the drinks we wanted. Friends did the drink package and this is what they said. The first day they drank like crazy, the next day they were hungover and didn't drink. Then on port days ( St. Martin, St Kitts, San Juan) they were off the ship and drank in port. They felt it wasn't worth it). If you do decide to purchase do the premium drink package, better choices.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover. -Mark Twain
I am due to cruise on the Independence in a few months time and am trying to work out if the Drinks package is going to be worth it.
Does anyone have an up to date bar price list available ?
The question is Do you like to drink? Do you like to try new things? Do you like not needing to sign receipts?
Mixed Drinks average $8 to $10
Not a wine drinker so do not know.
For me it's a no brainer unless we have a GS and can use the CL. For DW not even close to being a value. And now due to changes both don't have to buy the package.
