So we're on the June 28 Alaska Passages (Regatta of course), we're scheduled in Juneau at 9am. There's a marvelous 7 hour hike on the glacier with a private company, but departs at 8:30. I don't suppose there's any way we'd be there early etc. Any thoughts or experience on this?

Thanks!

Hey, we're on your cruise. Check out our roll call, not much action but we are planning a meet and greet.

As to your question, the answer is that you never know. If it's a private tour, you can probably schedule it for a bit later.

We were on Regatta last week in Alaska, finishing in Vancouver on May 20th, and the captain seemed to take pride in getting to port early! I seem to remember we reached at least 2 of the ports an hour or so before the scheduled arrival time. No guarantees of this on your cruise, of course.
