Smoking on Windstar Yachts

Considering sailing on the Star Breeze and I hate to open this can of worms...but do they allow smoking in the inside spaces of the ship?

Smoking is not permitted inside the ship. There is one designated smoking spot outside on the port side near the Star Bar.

I replied on an earlier post that the smoking rules were not obeyed on our recent Legend cruise. This was only a problem on deck around the star bar and sun loungers. Quite a few men smoking cigars as well as your usual cigarette smoking. Never smelled or saw anyone smoking inside the ship.

This was a big problem on our Legend cruise a year ago, I guess nothing has changed....

We have been on the WS 19 times. The majority of the time there is no issue at all and I horrifically allergic to smoke, my eyes close, it s a problem I had had since childhood. A couple of times i have seen smokers be rude, while other times smokers will not follow the rules ever. I am a very polite person and went to speak to a man once and he was agressive. I did report him, I stayed away so I do not know what happened. I really do not think smoking should be on any ship after all wind carries smoke. Given my issues with smoke, it s not something I worry about with WS.
