Hampton Inn & Suites Miami Midtown

I have not stayed there, but know the area very well.

The hotel itself is relatively brand new. The surrounding area has certainly changed, for the better, over the years, as the Midtown area is becoming a bustling place where people live, work, and play. Close enough to Downtown Miami, but away from the traffic and crowds. There are lots of new condos, apartments, businesses, etc., and a plethora of restaurants within walking distance.

Its a brand new hotel. The geographical location is good, but its in a middle spot IMO. Its right on Biscayne Blvd but up by 36th street there is not much there. The Midtown development is very close by, but there are train tracks in between the Midtown area and the hotel. The walk to midtown is ok, I would not recommend it at night though. A $5.50 Uber ride will take you to tons of options for restaurants and shops. Lots of good options for dinner in the area, but again, not walking from your hotel to there. But once you are in the areas with the shops and restaurants walk all you want. Also a pretty quick ride to Downtown/Brickell and Miami Beach.
