Ak'tenamit & Livingston Town

We are on the NCL Spirit this winter and have signed up for this excursion. Can anyone familiar with this tour tell us if we made a good choice? Is the transportation comfortable? Is it interesting? Thanks in advance.

We are also considering this tour for our December cruise. Any one out there have any comments? crickets.......silence.....anyone??

We are headed down there in another week-departing on the NCL Spirit on Dec7th-we use a company called Happy Fish and they are located in the main tourist building along with several other tour companies. It all depends on what you are wanting to do. Remember this is a working port so there isnt really anything to see or do besides the tourist building. There a water taxi's available to take you to Livingston which is about a 25min ride along the coast. Others head to the falls or the resort, some head up the river or go to the fort. Many just stay on the ship. Make sure that you are on the Prom Deck to see the sail-away which is pretty eventfull in itself. This region is very grateful for the tourists that visit.

The tour you chose is good but you can get it about 40.00 dollars cheaper at the dock.

I didn't realize that NCL was offering this tour now. At first I thought you where mainly going to Livingston Town. But combined with Ak'tenamit which you have to reach by going up river it is a interesting tour.
