Mt Fuji and Hakone National Park Excusion

Will be cruising on Sun Princess in September 2012 to Japan and would really like to do this excursion but am concerned about it being rated as strenuous. How strenuous? It is not recommended if one has difficulty walking. Am able to walk but slowly and must be able to have some stops along the way. Tour description says there are 120 steps, how steep?

Would love to hear from passengers over age 70 who have done this excursion. Thank you
