New to Silversea cruises

Hi,

We have just booked a week on Silver Wind at the start of December. We have cruised quite a bit but this is our first cruise on Silversea. Has anyone got any tips or advice about cruising with Silversea and in particular about Silver Wind. We have a Veranda Suite which looks quite nice. All advice would be greatly appreciated.

The staff on Silversea are superb and will do anything they can to accommodate your wishes. So, if you want something special, just ask for it. If something is not to your liking, tell someone. That includes special services in your suite or special meals (24 hours notice) in the restaurants.

Agree with Emtbsam. We loved the Wind. Small, intimate, and accommodating. Can't think of any particular 'tips' -- simply enjoy! Bon Voyage.

2. When on board, sit back, relax, and let the fine crew cater to your whims
   

Advice:

1. Consider booking a night or two in one of the specialty restaurants when online booking opens 120-days prior to your embarkation date.
   
2. If you like your SS cruise, consider placing a deposit on future SS cruise with the Cruise Consultant while you are on board the ship in order to secure up to a 5% discount on a future voyage. The deposit does not preclude you from working with your preferred travel agency.
