4B interior room--opinions needed

We have always had a room on a higher deck any ship we sailed on. I believe the lowest deck we have ever had was a room on Verandah (7th). We are thinking about booking a 4B interior which is on the main deck (2nd deck) and aft. If you have ever had this type of a roomor a 4B, I would appreciate your opinion, the pros and cons and any advice you can give me

To me an inside is an inside. In terms of location the lower decks do not bother me since its so much more convenient when coming back from ports (though it is far from Lido). My only concern with an aft on riviera is possible engine noise (if its extremely aft). But otherwise it should be fine. Are there any 4B midship on deck 1 available?
