Hi there,

one of our party, mid 50's and in rather decent health has a 42 inch waist and weighs 230 pounds.

While you would never guess this by looking at them!!!

so, Treetops adventure says 250 pounds max and 50 inch waist

Of course we realize that our family member meets these requirements, but we were wondering if anyone else around this size has zip lined and how comfortable were they?

The participant is the parent of 2 teens that will zip line and wants to join in the fun.

Thanks all!

I'm 240lbs, when I got suited up with the harness I got a super strength double bracketed one, my wife figured if it was good enough for me her 130lb frame needed it too. the biggest problem I had was a build up of speed and inertia which proved a problem for the slight attendants. After a first leg barreling into a sturdy tree they showed me how to slow prior to entering the "kill zone" this was in Costa Rica boy what a great day.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hubby is 6'4" and about 275 with a 42" waist. He was allowed to zip on Roaton this past March but he did come home with some horrific looking bruises on his belly. Said they didn't hurt but they sure looked bad. He'd do it again in a heartbeat. Me, not so much
