Hey all you experienced cruisers, I have a question I hope you can help me with. We are cruising on the Sensation out of Port Canaveral and are going to be flying in to/out of Orlando. The day the cruise returns, what would be a safe time for a flight home? I don't want to be rushed, but I also don't want to hang out all day (we've got 3 small kids to get home to). We will not have any kind of VIP disembarktion and we are either going to rent a car or take the shuttle, depending. My options for flights are 10:55am or 6:55pm. What do you think?

TIA, Jackie

Take the 6:55. The other may not be do-able. We had a flight that left at the same time (are you flying into SDF??) and we stayed on board for a while that morning, then got off the ship, and picked up our rental car. We drove on in to Orlando and went past the airport. There is a huge mall just a mile or two away from the airport. We parked there, had some lunch, and shopped. We really had a good time and weren't rushed at all.
