Website Questions for Bonnie

Have just found the FAQ for Le Club on the Azamara website and while I get a hand indicating each is a link, clicking on any of the questions does nothing. Then I found the + and tried those and the same nothing. No link is really there. Tried it in three different browsers and other links on the same page do work. Think something is amiss on the page.

 

Also, trying to see available cabins on the web site by going thru the make a booking process does bring up the various available categories. Then clicking on the choose my cabin simply takes me to the next step of the process to put in our information completely ignoring the choose my cabin process and won't show any available cabins. Again tried on a number of different cruises as well as different browsers. Clicking the links in this case works but, doesn't bring up any available cabins.

Wish I knew why you are having issues... but I just tried the same page.. FWIW, I see no point in the plus signs to begin with. Why not a simple "Q: A:" format, and get rid of the + as its an unnecessary step. Just my .02 cents.

Verrry strange things going on, agree with getting rid of the +. Still no joy on any browsers on my laptop and on my iphone, clicked the link and got a no such website so navigated to the website on my iphone and all of the FAQ's are answered in the initial page so to add to your + comment, why not simply have the answers below the questions and no hyperlinks. Going to try my desktop but, these are the only links that don't work for me on chrome, firefox, IE, and safari??

 

Have you tried the dummy booking and seen if you get available cabins or is that a true website glitch??

 

Thanks for trying Andy, can't find any reason for my links not working but, read all the answers on my iphone so good to go. Thanks for the information and help, Google is no help looking for the problem.

Thanks Bonnie, for the record I did go to my laptop and was able to see the answers to the FAQ's but, on my laptop all other links work except to see the FAQ answers. Tried Firefox, IE, Chrome and Safari all with the same result. Haven't found any other links on my laptop that don't work??

 

Verrrry strange. And for the available cabins not showing up that is very strange in the booking process as well.

As an example, if I click My Reservations $499.81 will appear, I then click My Profile and go back to My Reservations it will change to $7763.41. If I keep doing that it will change to another figure until it starts repeating the amounts already shown.

Can you please explain?

Why is it not possible to have a proper account shown, which relates to the cruise and land discoveries which have been booked?

Also saw something I haven't seen called cruise calendar. This showed the cruise itinerary as well as tours. Have already booked 2 tours and when I found those, it didn't show booked so for the Azmazing evening, I tried to book and it took me all the way thru until the end when it said I didn't use the correct payment method which is strange because it is free. Then went to the shore excursions tab and both my tours were there and confirmed. Doesn't appear the two tabs are talking to each other. Like the itinerary page but, have no idea how it should now work if I choose to book more tours??

 

OK, I did find my reservation numbers at the end of the booking process however, strange with two different ways to book tours and why go thru the process when booked on the other tab???

That sounds very odd indeed! What country are you in goorawin? I'll see if I can find the right expert to help you.

That was another question I asked sometime ago and didn't get a solution. Someone mentioned that it was a computer glitch but its been there like it for several months.

Bonnie, it would be great if you could sort it out.

Question for Jazzbeau, what are you trying to do when you get that error message?

 

I had gone into My Azamara to look up my reservation, then clicked on Cruise Calendar. When that page loads, this error message is under the heading "Calendar Options."

Jazzbeau, which ship/voyage are you trying to access on the cruise calendar? I have the IT people trying to recreate this error now.

Hi I've never cruised with Azamara but have cruised often. I just have a question about shuttles in port. Does Azamara provide complimentary (or even paid) shuttles to take passengers from the port to town or the tender port to town, i.e. in Dubrovnik, Corfu etc.

We are booked on a cruise in August and I'm trying to figure out transportation for some of the ports. I read on the one thread that some cruise lines provide transportation and I wondered if Azamara would?

 

Any information would be great. Thanks

In almost all ports we provide complimentary shuttle service to town.

About a year ago there was a thread about a port, I believe it was somewhere in Italy, where there was no shuttle provided. Seems it was due to a local ordinance protecting the taxis (I'm sure one of the old timers on this forum will remember the place!) But besides that I'm not aware of a place we don't provide complimentary shuttle. Does anyone else know of a place?

I think that was Giardini Naxos, the port for Taormina on Sicily. Gibraltar also insists on its taxis carrying passengers from dock to city center.

Since you were so good at answering my last question I wondered if you could help me again.

How does it work with the Shore excursions (land discoveries) I want to book one now online but I'm worried that if we want to change it or say we find out onboard that the weather won't be nice that day so we decide to cancel how does that work with cancellation fees etc. ?

 

Also I have been to Venice before with Princess and they offered us an unlimited use Vaparetto ( I believe that's what they're called) pass for $15 US

for the day. Does Azamara offer something like this or do they dock walking distance to St. Marks square??

Hi Funtoocruise ~ do me a favor and post this question on its own thread, with a Title relevant to your question(s). I am confident you'll have a bevy of responses from our long-time club members before I can get back to you with a thorough response.

I say this because this thread is entitled "Website Questions for Bonnie" which I suspect most people skip over. If you mention 'booking tours' and or 'shuttles in Venice', you'll find people willing to share their experiences.

Simply being a squeaky wheel and reminding you that it has been almost 3 weeks since I brought up and asked why when booking on line when it says to choose your cabin, it next skips right by and continues the booking process without any choices shown.

 

This would seem to me to be an extremely serious failing of the website and it most probably affects people trying to book their cruise and thus impacts booking and earnings which are extremely important to Azamara.

 

Thanks for checking on this and reminding the IT Group what an important failing this is on the website and might be impacting profitability among other issues.

Its Ok I spoke with a rep at Azamara and they said that you have up to 24 hours to cancel an excursion with out penalty. No Reply yet on the Shuttles in Venice he didn't know and was suppose to email me a response no word yet
