Mumbai April 2017 Taj Hotel stay

We originally booked the Taj with Hotels.com and local taxes were extra to the room rate. However we changed to booking direct with the Taj as they offered a good deal if you paid upfront. The taxes you mention were charged in advance with the booking so all we paid was for food and beverages consumed.

Possibly Azamara booked room rate only as we would have done with Hotels.com.

Best to ask the hotel or Azamara direct. We booked ourselves through a third party site but it included all tax which is something you always have to watch as hotels.com don't but look cheaper at first when you search as a result

What did your check out bill show? I always formally check out even when I know the bill is zero so I can close off any card holds etc and if there is an issue I can address it at the time

My advice is the same as uktog's...check with our offices directly, or with the hotel.

I have no access to your individual booking via our reservation computers and so would be speculating the same as you.
