We are booked on the PG 11 day Cook & Society Island cruise, I am confused a bit by Motu Mahana? This is listed on my itinerary associated with our Port Day in Taha. Is this an included free excursion offered by PG in Taha? Do you recommend this in lieu of any privately booked port excursions for Taha.

Is there any covered sun protection areas on Motu Mahana or is it all opened beach/water areas? Need to minimize hubby's sun exposure in hottest part of the day. Does PG offer regular tenders back and forth from ship to Motu Mahana?

Lots of shade

Tenders every 30 minutes

It's a lovely day, no charge, you can spend the entire day there or part. Nice lunch, water activities, chairs, umbrellas.
