Carnival Conquest docked in Key West

We will be visiting Key West on March 2 (Monday, from 8am to 4pm). There will be two other ships in port, but only arriving later in the afternoon (12:30 and 1pm) . So I've heard that there are different docking places in Key West, and that some are better than others. Will we get the better one since we arrive first. Also, what kind of weather should I expect that time a year and will the city be busy on a Monday? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Conquest docks at the Westin Hotel pier B which is an easy walk off right past the hotel and onto Front Street. I would say that is second only to Mallory Square which might be 100 yards closer to Front Street; but in any case you are in good shape as far as docking.

Average high/low temps for your arrival are 77/67 which is perfect weather in my estimation.

I would expect things to get pretty busy after lunch with three ships in port and some schools will have begun spring break by early March as well. But that is just my opinion.

Have a great visit!

Mike:)
