Restaurant near Port

Starting research for our stop in Curaçao.

I'm looking for a place to have dinner with my family near the port. It will be my DW, DS, and myself.

Thanks for any suggestions.

What types of food do you like? There is a great sushi place in Rif Fort, Steaks and Ribs is good too and is right in Rif Fort.

Thanks for your replies. It definitely helped with the research.

If you like cheese, there is a restaurant in the RIF Fort called "The Royal Dutch Cheesery" which serves cheese plates, salads, sandwiches, fondue, etc. You can dine outside in the Fort courtyard. They also have a great cheese shop and free samples. They have a web site and are on Facebook, GREAT PLACE!!!

Very easy to find the Cheese Place. They will sell you whole rounds if you wish.

Do you want a place that specializes in fish, beef, Italian? Hard to help if we don't know what you like.

Was looking for something local. But we will have our 10 year old with us so need chicken fingers or something like that as well.

Tripadvisor and Google maps has given me lots of info. Just curious if anyone had recommendations.

There is a Denny's within walking distance adjoining the Holiday Beach Resort and Casino (check it out on Google Earth - to the left of the Mega-Pier)
