As an engineer, I'd kill for a tour of the Viking Ocean engine rooms, etc.

Viking did give us a Captain's tour of the Longship river boat wheelhouse.

I'm with you. I too would love to tour the 'workings' of a Viking Ocean ship. On our last cruise on the Star in the West Indies, we toured the bridge which was very interesting and highly recommended. But the backbone of running a cruise ship, the engine room, kitchen and laundry would make for a fascinating tour.

Viking River does kitchen tours. Amazing how small and spotless it is and the tours are as dinner is continuing!

Haven't managed a tour of a Viking Ocean ship yet, but did get a personal tour of a longship engine room with the chief engineer once during a river cruise. Very interesting!
