Halifax & Saint John for Toddler & Parents

We are having a tour/excursion dilemma!

We're going to New England/Canada in October on the Brilliance of the Seas. It will be DH, myself, and DS (19 months old). I know the "must do" places in each port but we're having a real hard time making a decision on what we want to do. I have an entire spread sheet of ideas and I feel like we're stuck!!

Here are the options I narrowed down for each port that are a possibility for us. If I missed something that would be good for our little family please feel free to add.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Citadel, tugboat from Thomas the Train, HOHO Bus, Titanic Graves & Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Peggy’s Cove, Boardwalk

Saint John, NB

Saint John City Tours (Link), Reversing Rapids Railway Tour (RCI), Bay of Fundy

You will need to rent a car or take a taxi (pricey) or tour to go to Peggy's Cove. It is beautiful.

Theodore Tugboat is wonderful for kids and parents too. After all it is a cruise on the harbour. I had lunch on the harbourfront yesterday and enjoyed watching the ferries, Harbour Hopper and Theodore Tugboat go back and forth. There was also a tall ship under sail and a navy ship.

In Saint John are there specific tours that bring you to Bay of Fundy at both high and low tide??? We'd really like to see both.

:(. That makes me so sad. I will contact them to see if the tug will at least he there so he can see it and we can take some pictures by it.
