Hi:)....this is a B&B question for those who might know the area please.

I have been researching Trip Advisor for a few days now and thought

maybe some of you would know some information on here too.......:D

4 Nights in NAPA........there is a company called "The 4 Sisters"...they

have some B&B's in Napa/Monterey/Southern California..etc......

Do any of you know the BLACKBIRD INN in Napa? Gets very good reviews

and the other place is The Merlot Inn...which also gets good reviews...

Anyone knows these properties? Stay at them?........any input would

be greatly appreicated:)

Thank you.:)

I found another one that looks even better.....I wonder if anyone knows that one....

It is called "Cedar Gables"......actually I have found tons of them but

am trying to narrow down my choices.;)

I think you are much more likely to get local info from folks on Trip Advisor who live in the area or who have visited there often.

We don't go to Napa as we have other wine regions much closer to our home!

Here is my two cents worth....I live about 40 minutes drive from the Napa Valley and I really prefer to stay somewhere north of Napa, such as Rutherford or Calistoga. Napa itself is a small city. Highway 29 which is the main road in the area gets very busy on weekends so staying closer in to where the wineries and scenery are is much more relaxing to me. The Silverado Trail runs parallel to Hwy 29 and has some places to stay also.

We stay at The Cottages of Napa Valley and love it there. It's in Yountville. We do a one day private hire car tour, which goes to three small, beautiful vineyards with great wine. We spend the rest of the time enjoying the beautiful and relaxed surroundings.

Hi Lois,

I've stayed at a few Four Sisters Inns, but not the one in Napa. My favorite is the Gaige House in Glen Ellen (neighboring Sonoma county).

I have stayed at the Cedar Gables as recently as October last year. It was wonderful! The owners are a very nice couple who take great pride in their B&B. The wife is a wonderful cook and her breakfasts are worth the nightly room rate alone! Highly recommended in my book. ;)

We're fortunate to live just 45 minutes from Napa, so we do quick getaways up there whenever possible.

My wife and I have stayed in the Blackbird Inn. Enjoyed it. Nice location, great breakfast, very friendly staff. It is an older building so the sound proofing isn't that great, but I've looked to stay there a few more times but it's always booked. Thought it was a great value compared to many of the other choices that have been mentioned.

Hi Dave,:) the smallest room at Cedar Gables is 35.00 more than the smallest

room at Blackbird Inn. So I guess I need to decide if that extra money

is worth it. Every review on Trip Advisor gives Cedar Gables 4 and 5 star

reviews........I guess it is has been so long since I have taken a land trip,

it is very confusing:eek:
