I agree, the snorkeling was really great. We did this excursion in Nov 08.

We did the southern caribbean last year, and there was no comparison as far as the personality of the crew. Sargeant Cays crew made us feel very safe, they were really professional. We are going to do it again this Nov on the Carnival Legend. It is more family oriented, with no alcohol served on the boat.

Did you do a ship sponsored tour or one through Carnival? How crowded was it? We are going on the Legend in Oct. and trying to find the best snorkeling spot.

:DWe did the Sargeant Cays Snorkel Adventure excursion thru Carnival. We were on the Carnival Glory in Nov 08. We are doing it on the Carnival Legend this Nov.

It was not crowded. We liked the fact it was more professionally ran and not a party boat with drinking and loud drunks like we experienced in Barbados.

This place seems to be primarily a scuba diving operation, with snorkeling as a sideline.

They pick you up from the ship and take you to their island, where they have a very nice place that they outfit you with snorkeling gear.

We brought our own. This is the only snorkeling excursion I have been on where their snorkeling gear actually looked clean and in good shape!

You then transfer to a very nice dive boat which takes you to the reef.

You can google their website to see pictures.
